Field Trips

A fun, hand-on farm experience for students and teachers! Bring your students to JZ Farms for a hands-on, educational experience they won’t forget! Our self-paced field trips offer children and teachers the opportunity to explore over 25 farm activities, providing a fun and engaging way to learn about agriculture and farm life. From meeting friendly farm animals to tackling our 10-acre corn maze (or the kiddie maze for younger visitors), there’s plenty to discover at your own pace.

We’re thrilled to announce our NEW fall field trip — Spookley the Square Pumpkin! We’re spreading kindness this fall with Spookley’s heartwarming message! Bring your class or group out to the farm for an unforgettable day: (groups of 25 plus)

  • Enjoy our Spookley puppet show

  • Walk through our kid-friendly corn maze and explore Spookley’s story about friendship and kindness.

What's included:

Full access to all farm activities (excluding the paintball target station).Hands-on experience with farm animals, interactive exhibits, and exciting attractions like:

✅ Jumping Pillows

✅ Barnyard Slingshot

✅ Farmersville (for ages 6 and under)

✅ The Grain Mill (low ropes course, ages 5+)

✅ Combine Slide, Tire Pyramid, and so much more!


Lunch & Picnic Area🌿

We offer a tented picnic area with 10 picnic tables that can comfortably seat up to 60 people, making it the perfect spot for your group to enjoy lunch. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks (just be sure to pack plenty of water, as we do not have water fountains).


If your group is larger than 60 students, lunch can be rotated in shifts.

Rates & Availability

Dates: Field trips are available from September 11th to November 7th, 2025.

Minumum of 25 students to get field trip rate

Times:

  • Monday-Wednesday: 10am-1pm or 10:30am-1:30pm (closed to the public with concessions available).

  • Thursday & Friday: 10am-1pm or 10:30am-1:15pm (open to the public with concessions available).

Cost:

  • Children: $10 per child, or $12 per child to include a small pumpkin.

  • Adults/Chaperones: $5 per person.

  • Teachers: Free.

Please note: A minimum of 25 children is required to receive the field trip rate. Payment must be made in one transaction. Season passes are not valid for field trips.


Additional Options

  • Ice Cream: $4.50 for a small, $6 for a large, plus tax (optional and paid on-site by student/parent).

  • Gift shop: Students can bring extra money for souveniers and local gifts from our farm market.
