Field Trips

🌸 Spring Field Trips 2026 at JZ Farms

Bring your students to experience hands-on learning, outdoor play, and farm fun at JZ Farms this spring.

📚 Booking Requirements

  • A minimum of 25 students (ages 3 and up) is required to book a field trip.


💵 Pricing

  • $10 per student – includes ONE pint of U-Pick strawberries (crop dependent)

  • $8 per student – no strawberry picking

  • $5 per adult/chaperone

  • Teachers are FREE

Payment Details

  • Payment is due in one transaction.

  • The field trip contact must check in and pay at the admission booth.

  • Wristbands will be provided to the group contact and must be worn for entry.

  • Season passes are not valid for field trips.

  • Checks should be made payable to JZ Farms Fall Fest.

  • Parents or chaperones arriving separately should wait to enter until the group contact has checked in.

  • Tuesday–Thursday | May 5 – May 28

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

April Field Trips

  • Available Tuesday–Thursday starting April 21

  • Strawberry picking will not be available in April.


🍓 Strawberry Picking (Optional)

  • Each student may pick ONE pint of strawberries from our U-Pick patch.

  • Strawberry picking is available for students only (not adults or teachers).

  • Picking times are scheduled by class.

  • Strawberry availability is crop dependent.

  • If strawberries are unavailable, teachers will be notified as soon as possible and may choose the $8 per student rate.


🚜 Farm Activities

Students receive admission to 20+ farm attractions, including:

  • Jumping Pillows (2)

  • Barnyard Slingshot

  • Funnel Wagon Basketball

  • Farm Animals

  • Corn Bins

  • Combine Slide

  • Tire Pyramid

  • Farmersville (ages 6 & under – 14 ag-themed playhouses)

  • Grain Mill low ropes course (recommended ages 5+)

  • Trikes, Tractor Swings, Round Bale Rollers

  • Music Station, Pony Racers, Ducky Race, and more

Paintball Target Station is not open during field trips.


🧺 Lunch & Seating

  • Reserved outdoor tent area with picnic tables (seats approximately 60).

  • Groups may bring their own food and drinks.

  • Larger groups may rotate lunch times if needed.

  • The tent area is reserved for your group for the duration of your visit.


🛍️ Market & Concessions

  • Our on-site market will be OPEN, featuring local gifts, souvenirs, flowers, planters, and hanging baskets.

  • Concession stand will also be open.


🌦️ Weather Policy

  • The farm closes in the event of rain.

  • Please call 443-786-7183 before arriving if rain is forecasted or has already begun.

  • We will do our best to communicate weather updates in advance.


✔️ Helpful Tips

  • Portable restrooms and handwashing stations are available.

  • This is a working farm—some areas may be muddy after rain.

  • Wear appropriate footwear.

  • Bring plenty of water (no water fountain on site).

  • Other schools may be present, but attendance is limited to ensure a great experience for everyone.
